As Homer’s premier filleting crew on the Spit, while we do not own or operate any boats ourselves, we work daily with the fleet and can connect you directly with awesome captains. Whether you want a full-day halibut charter in Homer, Alaska, a salmon trip, or a multi-species fishing charter, we want to help you get out fishing!

Full-Day Trip

Ideal for targeting multiple species or above-average halibut. We hang your fish at Buttwhackers and filleting is included in the cost of your charter.

Half-Day Trip

Perfect for larger parties and a shorter day on the water. On a half day, it's more about the experience than filling the freezer. If you're looking for a big fish, your best bet is to book a full day. Buttwhackers does not fillet for half day boats, but your catch will be cut at sea by capable crew!

Before heading to the docks, remember to check current regulations and buy your license through the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
